What is interfaith?

This discussion is to try to gauge the understanding of all members about their definition of interfaith. Is it just coming together and working together or is it about understanding and mutual appreciation or maybe something else.

For me, "interfaith" is coming together with a willingness to see that what unites us is greater than what divides us. From here, if we find that we have common interests in terms of serving our community, maybe we can do this together.

What I love most about interfaith is meeting people with different beliefs to mine, sometimes learning a bit about those beliefs, and always finding a common experience. It continually reaffirms my sense that, despite appearances, we are all One.
